You can’t argue with the fact that the Irish know and can hold their booze pretty damn well. Their festivals are all about alcohol, they have days devoted to just drinking, so you know how deeply in love they are. So, if they have picked their topmost favourites, there’s gotta be a reason behind it. Here’s the list of the most popular Irish drinks. Read on and learn a thing or two:
Guinness: Available across Ireland, practically on every tap in every bar, this thick, smooth stout is pretty much their drinking water. It’s smooth and the Irish are quite unabashed about their love for Guinness.

Black ‘N’ Black: This isn’t drastically different from Guinness. It’s in fact the same drink,, but with only a strong shot of blackcurrant. It’s meant for those who don’t like the bite of the stout. Imagine how much love they have for this stout, that they have multiple variations of it and they both feature in the most popular drink list!

Irish Cider: Putting all other ciders to shame, Irish Cider is kickass and comes in dozens of varieties. Known as Magners in Northern Ireland, this tastes best with ice. Berry and pear flavoured ones seem like a popular choice.
Fat Frog: As unappealing as the name sounds, this is basically just deliciousness in a glass. Made with Wicked Blue, Bacardi Orange, Smirnoff Ice, this drink is legit green. Probably a turn off to those who play it safe, this could easily be the most creative Irish drink ever.

Irish Moonshine: Fondly known as Poitin or Craythur, it’s made from potatoes and is super strong. Its ABV ranges from anywhere between 40%-90%. Poit means hangover, so ya, basically this is the shortcut to a terrible hangover, but an eventful night.
