5 Pink Liquors To Move On From Rosé Wine

admin@unsobered.com - February 27, 2020

Whatever your opinion might be, there is no doubt that pink liquor has an appeal to it. The pink hue gives you a feel-good vibe that can be pretty addicting if you are an avid Instagram user. While some distillers use natural ingredients to add the colour to their liquor, some use additives. If you are one of the consumers who like rosé wine for its pinkish colour, you should try one of these pink liquors next!

1. Gordon’s Pink Gin

Gordon’s Premium Pink Distilled Gin uses only natural fruit flavours to add a pink hue to the spirit. The gin is inspired by an original Gordon’s recipe from the 1880s, using raspberries, strawberries and redcurrants to offer a balanced refreshing taste to it. The natural sweetness of the berries ensures a high-quality berry taste in every sip of the gin. It is bottled at 37.5% ABV and is available for purchase at online retail shops.

If you are lucky, you can find a bottle at Bangalore Duty Free stores!

2. Mejor Pink Tequila

In a league of ultra-premium tequilas, Mejor Pink tequila has won a gold medal at ‘Beverage Tasting Institute’ and an award at ‘New York Spirits Awards’. The spirit is distilled from the highest quality of private-estate highland blue agave, offering notes of natural agave citrus on the palate. Packing a smooth and silky texture, the tequila is appreciated for its grapefruit aroma. A bottle of Mejor Pink is bottled at 40% ABV.

3. Faith & Sons Pink Rum

Faith & Sons Pink Rum is distilled at a microdistillery in Manchester, being bottled at 37.5% ABV. The distillation process requires white rum being infused with fresh strawberries and raspberries, resulting in a berry flavoured rum with notes of vanilla and cloves. The spirit offers a floral aroma and is best enjoyed neat over ice and in cocktails. And to add the cherry on top, this pink rum is gluten-free!

4. Pinky Vodka

A United Breweries-owned vodka label, Pinky Vodka launched in 2018 in the global spirit market. It became the second most-selling vodka in World Duty Free stores in the ‘super premium’ category. The pink vodka is distilled five times to offer a smooth texture, using pure glacial waters and over 10 botanicals like rose petals and violets. Containing no added flavours and carbs, the vodka has gained popularity among vodka enthusiasts. This hand-blended spirit is bottled at 40% ABV.

5. Dragons & YumYums Beer

The pink-hued beer, Dragons & YumYums is a first-of-its-kind collaboration between Delaware-based Dogfish Head Brewery and the iconic alt-rock band The Flaming Lips. A pale ale, the beer is brewed with dragon fruit, yumberry, passionfruit, pear juice and black carrot juice to offer you a unique brewed beverage. It packs a tropical aroma and an intense fruity flavour profile, and is bottled at 6.5% ABV.
